After nearly 25 years as associate director, then director of the PCUSA Office of Theology and Worship, I retired at the end of 2010. Contrary to popular belief, retirement does not mean five days of golf every week. Retirement has given me more time to write, read, and lecture. I also teach at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary and the Reformed Institute of Metropolitan Washington, as well as serving as church relations consultant for the Presbyterian Foundation.
